We’ve noticed something the past few weeks when driving into the office. There ‘s a lot more traffic heading into Downtown Detroit than we’re used to seeing. Instead of complaining when it takes longer to get off 375 at Lafayette than usual, we do a little cheer.

Clean Up & Potluck Picnic Prep
Tucked away on the northwest corner of the Dig Downtown district is the Lincoln Street Art Park. This is a great example of what can happen with a little creativity and a lot of elbow grease. They need a little more elbow grease this weekend,. So lend a hand and meet some more of the creative minds in Detroit.

Any chance we get to plug The Wire Eyes, we take it. They are partnering with three other bands to raise awareness and funds for the Pay It Forward Initiative, which helps partner the jobless with meaningful volunteer internships.
From this week’s “In Case You Missed It Files,” Project Lighthouse was started last August as a sort of “Neighborhood Watch” for the central business district. It is already having a noticeable difference for people who live, work and play in Downtown Detroit.
